About The Position

Swift Textile Metalizing (STM) is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift. This role is responsible for the production of quality products, including checking and testing processed, machined, and/or fabricated products for defects, wear, and deviation from specifications. The technician will serve customers in commercial, aerospace, and defense industries. STM develops advanced conductive and metallized fabrics for various applications and offers a collaborative environment where innovation and hands-on expertise thrive.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent or trade school graduate
• 0-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic Math skills
• Possesses good mechanical aptitude
• Good computer skills
• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Must be a "U.S. person" as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, as required by U.S. export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Work to a high quality standard keeping safety as a priority
• Interpret and follow material specifications for precise mixing of various chemicals
• Stores inspected batches in proper inventory order
• Cleans and maintains the various equipment
• Wrapping and package of finished product if needed
• Operation of various machinery and manual processes as required
• Adherence to a closely timed and measured production protocol
• All other duties as assigned
