About The Position

Linde Inc. Production Technician Phoenix, AZ, United States | req31876 What you will enjoy doing You will monitor, control, and optimize plant processes using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations Track operating parameters, alarms, and plant performance, and execute start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures in accordance with established guidelines Perform routine rounds, inspections, and equipment checks on compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and gas storage systems Further, you will conduct first-line troubleshooting, minor maintenance activities, and report equipment issues to support plant reliability Ensure compliance with plant safety standards, environmental permits, and operational procedures Operate and maintain customer gas delivery systems, ensuring uninterrupted supply and adherence to product purity specifications And you will perform quality checks, monitor gas analyzers, and respond promptly to operational deviations Collaborate with customer technical and production teams to address operational requirements and resolve supply-related issues

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in Process Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in an industrial facility environment
  • Familiarity with air separation technology, gas compression, and cryogenic systems
  • Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLC systems, plant instrumentation, and process controls
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in both control room and field operations
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, process equipment, and cryogenic gases
  • Commitment to following PPE requirements, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
  • Ability to support on-call rotations, overtime requirements, and emergency response activities as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in gas plants, petrochemical, chemical, semiconductor, or related process industries preferred
