This position will be based at our Odessa, TX location. In this position you will build and repair different types of valves and actuators. The Production technician reports directly to the Production Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to configure, calibrate and commission digital equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Must be self-motivated and have a willingness to grow your product knowledge in relation to VanZandt products, their functionality and use.
- High-energy, flexible, self-starter, hands-on, comfortable working individually and in a team environment to reach goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or less periodically.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with valve actuation and/or control valves is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Build and repair different types of valves and actuators.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policies.
- Work with internal staff to provide technical assistance with our VanZandt Controls supplied valves, actuators, and control products.
- Perform in-house repairs of valves, actuators and controls.
- Work with other production technicians.
- Operate a forklift (training will be provided).
