About The Position

We are hiring Production Technicians for an industrial metal component facility. In this role, you will disassemble heavy components using hydraulic presses and hand tools, clean them using industrial washers and shot blasting equipment, and then inspect each part to determine whether it can be remanufactured or should be replaced. Depending on the department, you may also measure components, examine surfaces under magnification, make minor part corrections, and classify parts for the next stage of the process. This is active, hands-on manufacturing work that combines physical labor with mechanical inspection. The company is growing, offers stable year-round employment, and promotes from within through cross-training into multiple production, inspection, and technical roles.

Requirements

• Manufacturing or industrial work experience
• Comfortable performing repetitive production work
• Able to use basic hand tools
• Able to read written work instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand throughout the workday

Responsibilities

• Disassemble large industrial components using presses and hand tools.
• Wash and shot blast parts before inspection.
• Inspect surfaces to identify wear, damage, cracks, and reusable components.
• Verify dimensions using gauges and precision measuring tools.
• Sort reusable and scrap parts according to standards.
• Operate industrial washers, blast cabinets, and support equipment safely.
• Lift, move, and stage heavy metal components throughout production.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
