About The Position

Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene. This role involves operating process and equipment efficiently, maintaining standards, and performing simple maintenance tasks. The technician will also be responsible for preparing raw materials, communicating with other shifts, maintaining housekeeping, ensuring product quality, and completing documentation. The position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule, alternating between days and nights.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operates process & equipment efficiently.
  • Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control.
  • Understands the Operation and equipment, what it does/how it works & can carry out CIL tasks and perform simple maintenance tasks.
  • Lead small change-overs
  • Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the machine.
  • Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation.
  • Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification rejecting and blocking if necessary.
  • Complete all required documentation and data files during production.
  • Completes BOS observations and gives meaningful feedback whether positive or corrective.
  • Is accountable for the performance of his/her equipment.
  • Develops standards (CL, CIL, PM, OPL, WPS, etc.) through observation to gain deep understanding of the equipment.
  • Troubleshoots stops in a structured way using the available tools: POS, BDE, etc.
