About The Position

The Production Technician is responsible for the programming, maintenance, and operation of all audio, video components, and lighting assets in respect to all entertainment formats. This role involves executing lighting shows, managing audio systems, and ensuring video services are operational. The technician will also assist with entertainer load-in and set-up, conduct sound checks, train staff on volume control, and manage vendor relationships. Additionally, the role includes processing service requests, obtaining estimates for purchases, and maintaining inventory of lighting and audio equipment. Providing excellent guest service and adhering to all applicable regulations are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on professional experience as an audio/visual technician for major entertainment productions.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and knowledge of major entertainment production and technology, including analog audio mixing and equalization equipment and Light Jockey intelligent lighting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work with all departments.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Program, operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and provide preventative maintenance (such as cleaning) for intelligent and conventional lighting systems.
  • Execute lighting shows in collaboration with musical performers exercising discretion and judgment to ensure maximum entertainment value.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and provide preventative maintenance (such as cleaning) for audio systems including the casinos music and paging system.
  • Program, operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and provide preventive maintenance (such and cleaning and replacement) of all video service to include projectors and TV’s in various casino and hotel zones.
  • Assist with entertainers load-in and set up of equipment.
  • Choreograph effective sound checks maintaining casino’ standards for both quality sound mix and volume control.
  • Train marketing and floor supervisors for appropriate volume control in various casino and hotel zones.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with audio and lighting hardware and software vendors.
  • Process service requests for approval, Obtains estimates for purchases following currently established purchasing procedures.
  • Complete purchase requisitions, as needed, for approval.
  • Inventories lighting and audio equipment before and after each performance for reconciliation purposes.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.
