The technician will monitor operations, reduce scrap and rework, audit parts, and perform adjustments to maintain quality production. Analyzing equipment problems, performing repairs, and initiating corrective actions are key responsibilities. The role also emphasizes self-initiative, promoting associate suggestions, and utilizing Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) concepts to enhance quality and overall equipment effectiveness. The technician will optimize processes, reduce setup time and downtime, control parts flow, monitor production quantities, and adhere to plant safety and environmental policies. There are opportunities to gain knowledge and cross-train, maintain an organized workspace, perform line and machine changeovers, achieve production quantities, and complete assigned technical training. Collaboration with Operators, Manufacturing Technicians, and Engineers is expected.
