Production Technician

Eyebot•Boston, MA
•$27 - $33•Onsite

About The Position

Eyebot is hiring a Production Technician for its Charlestown production floor, where self-guided vision-test kiosks undergo final assembly and calibration before shipping. The technician takes each kiosk from parts to a finished, tested unit, working from photo-based, step-by-step instructions alongside technicians and engineers. The role reports to the line supervisor, who runs the production floor day to day. The work is roughly split between team-based floor tasks and precision bench work. Floor tasks include uncrating, moving and re-crating kiosks weighing approximately 300 lb, standing them upright in pairs, and transporting them on pallets with a manual pallet jack. Bench tasks include wiring, mounting boards, and fitting small hardware at a station where the technician can sit or stand. Each kiosk is built, tested, inspected, and signed off before shipment. The position is full-time, W-2, with an 8-hour Monday–Friday schedule and a fixed start time selected between 6 and 11 a.m. No nights or weekends are scheduled. Overtime is available once the employee is up to speed, if desired. Training is provided on the floor using written instructions; employees receive written expectations on day one and weekly check-ins with the line supervisor during the first month. Benefits begin after the 30-day introductory period. The company describes this as a long-term opportunity, with the possibility of more responsibility as the team grows. Job offers are contingent on passing a background check.
