A Production Technician for Handwork is accountable for processing customer parts per customer requirements while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rate requirements. This role ensures company standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded. The technician will continuously monitor each step of the production process, be responsible for the start-up of Handwork jobs, and communicate with other technicians within the department. They will visually monitor tanks, communicate issues with the Department Manager, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The role also involves notifying the thermal manager of any necessary maintenance repairs, properly completing required paperwork, and keeping up to date with required trainings. Following proper safety procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Other laser duties may be assigned.
