About The Position
The Production Technician works at the Aurora Box Facility and performs production, inspection, documentation, and cleanup tasks. The role includes counting and stacking finished product, reading factory orders, reading gauges and other test equipment, using basic shop math, and completing quality and administrative documents accurately while following directions. Cleanup duties include blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap. The position is hourly and full-time, with either a second shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. or a third shift from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday. Pay is $23.31 to $33.41 per hour. The posting lists a sign-on bonus of $500 after 30 days and $500 after six months, a $500 retention bonus after one year, and an additional lump sum after two years.
