About The Position

Supervise installation and operation of all lighting and sound production for live music events. Transport all lighting and sound equipment to and from vehicles or tour buses into the venue location. Work with concert and music staff to understand expectations for set up and production. Execute set up and production to agreed specifications. Operate lighting and sound equipment for rehearsals and during concert events. Operate spot lights and stage lighting consoles. Promote the safety of stage and backstage areas. Secure audio/video equipment. Promote a safe working environment by adhering to established safety policies and procedures. Mix sound for live performances. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Complete safety training and certifications. Display clean and professional uniform and personal appearance. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Assist individuals with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Sit for extended period of time or for an entire work shift with some walking and standing. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year lighting and sound production experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • None
