About The Position

The Production Technician is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing electric drive systems for boat lifts. This role supports production operations by working with materials, tools, and equipment to ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Meyer is a growing, family-owned company where you’re more than a number—you’re part of the team. The Production Technician will support procurement activities for our marine operations. The ideal candidate will source marine products, equipment, and services, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Ability to read basic blueprints and technical drawings
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Organized with ability to prioritize tasks
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble boat lift components using drawings and specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely
• Measure, cut, drill, and fasten aluminum, steel, and electrical components
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas
• Assist with staging, loading, and shipment preparation
• Communicate material shortages, defects, or safety concerns
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
