About The Position
Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene. This role involves operating a production line for manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and standard operating procedures. As a member of the shift team, the operator is responsible for the performance of the machine and possesses the skills to efficiently operate and sustain the equipment/process.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to lift and frequently stand, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Quick learner.
- Ability to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends, as needed or required.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the production machine to ensure continuous production flow, making adjustments as needed.
- Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing.
- Maintain strong communication with the previous and next shift, and all team members involved in running the machine.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Support teammates with operating tasks and contribute to a smooth, efficient production flow.
- Ensure product quality by performing regular checks and rejecting non-conforming items.
- Accurately complete all required production documentation and data logs.
- Adhere to Essity's safety standards and contribute to a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
