Requirements

High School or GED required
1-3 years manufacturing experience

Must be able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Operates process & equipment efficiently.
Applies necessary standards to keep the process under control.
Carries out CIL tasks and performs simple maintenance tasks.
Leads small change-overs.
Orders and prepares raw materials and installs them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintains adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as other persons involved in running the machine.
Maintains an optimal housekeeping situation.
Secures the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.
Completes all required documentation and data files during production.
Completes BOS observations and gives meaningful feedback whether positive or corrective.
Is accountable for the performance of his/her equipment.
Develops standards (CL, CIL, PM, OPL, WPS, etc.) through observation to gain deep understanding of the equipment.
Troubleshoots stops in a structured way using the available tools: POS, BDE, etc.
