About The Position

Direct Production Technician 3rd shift openings. This role involves performing semi-skilled assembly, machine operation, and general production/warehouse activity. The position requires extended periods of standing or repetitive motion and involves moving materials and products, including lifting up to forty pounds. Ensuring product quality is a key aspect of the role. Employees may be cross-trained and move between simple assembly and machine operation. Environmental factors may include exposure to welding fumes, chemicals, noise, or vibration. Recordkeeping of daily production reports, process checklists, timekeeping, scrap and reject results, or machine time is also required.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience for Direct Hire.
Basic grammar and math skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work a standard forty-hour week with overtime as required.
Legally authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility.
Ability to perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing or repetitive motion such as gripping, reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling.
Ability to lift up to forty pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform semi-skilled assembly, machine operation, and general production/warehouse activity.
Operate machinery or tools, which may be manual or automated.
Perform repetitive motions such as gripping, reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling.
Use tools such as air-actuated tools and weld guns.
Place parts in fixtures, pack parts in shipping containers, and place parts on belts and conveyors.
Retrieve parts from machines to racks or bins.
Move materials and products to and from the work area, involving lifting up to forty pounds.
Ensure the quality of the product.
Periodically cross-train and move from simple assembly to machine operation.
Recordkeeping, manually or by data entry, of daily production reports, process checklists, timekeeping, scrap and reject results, or machine time.
