Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
  • Effectively use standard hand tools like handheld sewing machine and fabric cutting tools.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures preferred
  • Comfortable to work with both hands while standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting
  • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs by hand and perform repetitive movement
  • Safety Consciousness: must be aware of surroundings at all times due to machine and forklift dangers.
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality
  • Some duties may include machine operations, carrying, strapping, wrapping, securing, or labeling
  • Support safety programs, policies and practices that foster a safe work environment
  • May assist with planning shipping from the manufacturing location
  • Work on production assembly throughout the manufacturing process
  • Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management
