Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
- Effectively use standard hand tools like handheld sewing machine and fabric cutting tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures preferred
- Comfortable to work with both hands while standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs by hand and perform repetitive movement
- Safety Consciousness: must be aware of surroundings at all times due to machine and forklift dangers.
- Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Ensure the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and of desired quality
- Some duties may include machine operations, carrying, strapping, wrapping, securing, or labeling
- Support safety programs, policies and practices that foster a safe work environment
- May assist with planning shipping from the manufacturing location
- Work on production assembly throughout the manufacturing process
- Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management
