About The Position

This role helps to foster self-reliance, care for the poor and the needy, and provide opportunities for giving and service by: helping members become economically and emotionally self-reliant; providing access to essential food and clothing items; helping members prepare for and respond to disasters; and providing humanitarian aid to relieve suffering; thus furthering the mission of the Church. Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, and in compliance with Welfare Services' policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible to assist the plant manager with leadership and supervisory responsibilities. The incumbent's duties may include: Conducting training and monitoring activities related plant safety and sanitation, responsibility for meeting assigned production plan, ensuring safety and production policies and procedures are implemented and followed on a daily basis, assisting plant manager in providing supervision, training, and development of employees, missionaries, and volunteers, and ensuring that labor is allocated to balance the requirements and needs of the lead operator(s).
