About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Production Technician / Machine Operator to join our team in Sand Springs. This role involves inspecting finished railroad spikes, packaging products for shipment, assisting with machine operation, performing basic preventative maintenance, and operating forklifts. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or machine operation experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety. This is a full-time position with opportunities for pay increases as skills develop.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience
- Forklift experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working a night shift schedule
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished railroad spikes to ensure quality standards are met
- Package and prepare products for shipment
- Assist with machine operation and production processes
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support production goals while following safety and quality procedures
