About The Position

The Composite Technician focuses on producing and developing composite materials to enhance quality and efficiency. They are responsible for coordinating with engineers to study and improve designs and shop-aids, as well as operate machines and equipment with an eye for developing strategies and workflow. Technicians must be able to follow instructions from engineers and strive to ensure their work meets high standards of quality. They are also required to work in a team environment, so strong communication and collaboration skills are important.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to work with complex parts.
  • Must meet ITAR export control compliance requirements.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in composite manufacturing or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail and quality control skills.
