About The Position

The purpose of this role is to provide production operation duties to ensure efficient unit operation, proper and safe equipment operation in accordance with Plant Operation policies/procedures and OSHA safety rules and regulations, and the production of high-quality products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen, fitness test, and background check

Nice To Haves

• 2-years’ experience in an industrial, manufacturing or plant environment preferred
• Associate degree in Process Technology
• Minimum of 2 years post high school education
• 2 year experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Performing light maintenance, including but not limited to pump oiling, minor filter change-outs, small steam leak and trap repairs
• Taking and reporting utility readings
• Reviewing P&IDs and SOPs
• Computer input of quality alert information
• Miscellaneous other duties as required
