About The Position

Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene. This role involves operating a production line for manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and standard operating procedures. As a member of the shift team, the operator is responsible for the performance of the machine and possesses the skills to undertake the tasks needed to operate and sustain the equipment/process efficiently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
• Ability to lift and frequently stand, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Quick learner.
• Be able to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends, as needed or required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the production machine to ensure continuous production flow, making adjustments as needed using Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
• Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing, following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain strong communication with the previous and next shift, as well as all team members involved in running the machine.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Support teammates with operating tasks and contribute to a smooth, efficient production flow.
• Ensure product quality by performing regular checks and rejecting or blocking items that do not meet specifications.
• Accurately complete all required production documentation and data logs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
