About The Position

The Production Technician I safely operates basic production and material handling equipment to manufacture, package, and move finished products in accordance with quality and safety standards. The role involves routine tasks performed using established procedures and work instructions, while building knowledge of production processes and equipment. The technician supports efficient daily operations through consistent execution of standard processes and a willingness to learn new skills.

This is a full-time position in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, with an available shift of 9:00 AM–5:30 PM and compensation of $24.00 per hour. The position does not include relocation reimbursement.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must understand and communicate efficiently in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and noise.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights of 4 feet or above, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with operating basic production or material handling equipment.
• Experience following safety procedures in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic production, packaging, weighing, and material handling equipment according to standard work instructions.
• Load, unload, package, and palletize products to meet production and quality requirements.
• Monitor equipment and production processes and report issues or abnormalities to leadership.
• Perform basic cleaning, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Record production and quality information using simple computer systems or paperwork.
• Follow safety, food safety, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean work environment.
• Work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts, with advance notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
