Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years of age.
Production Technician or manufacturing experience with duties including preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting, etc.
Basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
Ability to perform basic mathematics.
Proficient in how to use a calculator, measurement tools, and basic hand tools to correct minor machine issues.
Basic computer skills.

CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver Level preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate, supervise and make adjustments as vital to subassembly machines using controls on an electrical control panel (HMI) or by making manual adjustments to different processing stations.
Load and replenish production supplies (i.e., membranes/cut tubes, sleeve stoppers, membrane tape, shrink band, enhanced closures) at a rate consistent with production needs.
Perform minor routine and preventative maintenance such as alignment adjustments, replacement of machine parts, cleaning and lubrication of machine components while supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on multiple machines at one time.
Investigate, identify and correct/call out any inefficiency in machine performance.
Assist Subassembly Operator in performing scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identifying any deviations that may occur and taking the appropriate action, including stopping production on the machine if vital.
Assist Subassembly Operator in inspecting finished product to ensure that quality standards have been met. Aid in packaging finished components and staging them for transfer to downstream processes.
Where applicable, perform testing, inspection, and packaging for Inter-Plant Shipping Orders (IPSO).
Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or in POMS system per local and corporate Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Execution of machine changeovers when assigned.
Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities.
Advise the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, or mechanical discrepancies occur.
Understand and apply meticulous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles including maintaining the work area and provided tools.
