About The Position

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Fort Pierce, FL, is seeking a Production Technician 2 to join our team. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

Emptying or Filling 55-gallon Drums
Assembling, Packing, and Stacking boxes
Wrapping Pallets with Shrink Wrap
Operating Machinery
Unloading Fruit from Trucks
“Grading” or Sorting Fruit
Labeling
Ensuring Equipment is Functioning Safely
Logging Activities Daily
Setting up Production Area with Appropriate Materials
General Cleaning
Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance
Perform regular inspections, light sanitation, and maintenance on equipment
Assist with setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines
Ensure that production standards and quality metrics are met.
Notifies supervisor of unusual problems.
Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
Follows health and safety guidelines.
Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP.
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications.
Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system.
Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.
Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.
