About The Position

In the role of Production Technician 1 working in Trenton, Ohio you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain team. The person will be responsible for the packaging, brewing, and/or shipping of beer while continually investigating methods to improve the process, improve customer satisfaction, and produce quality products. Successful candidates will be part of a team performing sanitation tasks, quality checks, and safely running equipment that brews and packages our products. This position is part of a team-based union environment with a 180-day probationary period. You will be in a warehouse environment on a fixed shift. Compensation starts at $22.33/hr. that increases to $26.83 after successfully completing your probationary period. This position reports to the Line Lead and works closely with fellow team members.

Requirements

Forklift experience.
Willingness to be trained and comfort developing the ability on forklift equipment.
You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You are a skilled communicator who will talk to the team about all matters pertaining to the overall operation and function of the equipment you work on.
You have a High School diploma; post high school education or technical training is a plus.
You have experience in a team-based, manufacturing environment, have experience operating forklifts, and operator-based maintenance experience is also desirable.
You are 21 years of age or older.
You are comfortable with the physical requirements of this position (standing, lifting, walking).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a fast paced, high-volume facility is desirable.

Responsibilities

Effectively and efficiently operate production equipment throughout each work shift 90% of the time.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks i.e., Lube, Sanitation as well as the ability to learn and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on equipment.
