The Production Technical Lead supports the manufacturing operations through setting up machines, building jigs and fixtures, and determining the safest and most efficient way for operators to product structural components.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a mechanical or manufacturing field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equal combination of education and experience.
• Working with saws, drill presses, and rollers.
• Proactive mindset.
• Organization skills.
• Ability to multitask with many moving parts.
• Effective and prompt communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teams.
• Practical problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or fabrication experience with steel or aluminum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication details.
• Design, build, and modify jigs and fixtures for repeatable production.
• Set up saws, drill presses, and rolling machines.
• Define safe and efficient methods for loading and unloading parts.
• Perform first-piece setups and adjustments before production begins.
• Support operators and troubleshoot setup-related issues.
• Ensure setups meet safety and quality standards.
