About The Position

The Production Tech (Infusions) position at Ayr Wellness is responsible for executing extraction, infusion, processing, and packaging plans in accordance with the Company’s operating procedures for cannabis production. This role involves conducting day-to-day assignments and tasks within the cannabis production cycle, including packaging and labeling of cannabis products for customers. The technician will learn extraction processes to facilitate and drive distillate and concentrate production, performing a broad range of duties related to daily operations and oil production. This includes preparation and extraction of plant material, preparation of solutions, supplies, materials, and equipment, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities, and the proper and safe use of equipment and materials. In the kitchen aspect of the role, the technician will gain basic knowledge of all daily operations in an edible and cannabis-infused kitchen, assisting in preparing food items and other culinary activities as directed by the kitchen manager. They will also perform routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and operate all equipment safely as intended. The role also includes operating and maintaining kitchen and packaging systems/equipment, monitoring, calibrating, running, and troubleshooting systems, stocking and handling production inputs and supplies, and sanitizing and cleaning production areas, kitchen workspaces, and tools. Ensuring daily QA/QC compliance with policies and procedures, including state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols, is also a key responsibility. Other duties as required will be performed to assist the company in meeting its goals.

Responsibilities
