About The Position

Production Tech 2 is responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.

Requirements

Technical school training, or relevant experience, and a minimum of 12-18 months’ experience troubleshooting to component level
2-5 Years Assembly experience
Soldering skills and mechanical aptitude
Willing to work in a fast-paced, high volume production environment and still have commitment to the quality of the product.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and be able to work in a team environment
Familiar with PC programs (spreadsheets, databases, windows, etc.).
Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred
Highly motivated and able to function in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Performs testing and troubleshooting of assemblies and/or final systems
May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
May assist in the selection and setting up of specialized test equipment
Performs other duties as required
