About The Position

Weyerhaeuser is hosting a Job Fair to recruit for Production Team opportunities at their Grifton Lumber Mill in Grifton, NC. Candidates are required to complete an APT assessment before the Job Fair, with instructions sent via email after applying. Those who meet minimum qualifications and pass the assessment will be invited to the Hiring Event. The event will provide an opportunity to meet the hiring team, learn about career opportunities, discuss benefits, and explore career growth. The production schedule involves rotating day and night shifts for both the Sawmill and Planer Mill operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of steady, documented work experience.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to wear required PPE and work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, navigate catwalks, bend, and stoop.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Commit to working safely and following all safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment efficiently and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload products for processing.
• Follow work instructions and complete tasks accurately.
• Learn new skills and adapt to different roles as needed.
