About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. The role involves working with a team to prepare customer orders and floor mats for delivery. The position includes on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training across production areas, with opportunities for career growth. The schedule is a 40-hour work week, five days per week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate the mat roller and other machinery.
• Must be at least 16 years old to work in the load-building area.
• Ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to lift 15–30 pounds.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Bundle, package, and roll articles in accordance with company requirements.
• Handle flat-good orders and select appropriate items.
• Select items by style, color, and other relevant characteristics.
• Inspect products for tears, holes, stains, excessive moisture, and other issues.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the area supervisor or management.
