About The Position

Toyota's Long Beach Vehicle Distribution Center is looking for a highly motivated Production Team Member. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Team Member will be trained to perform Post Production Option (PPO) and Point of Entry (POE) functions, including driving, inspecting, staging, locating, and installing vehicle accessories while meeting established safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role supports the timely receipt, processing, and shipment of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic-transmission vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors in normal and inclement weather conditions.
• Ability and willingness to work the assigned schedule which may include daily overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow written and demonstrated work instructions and perform vehicle processing tasks safely and accurately.
• Willingness to join Teamsters Local 848.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in production, vehicle processing, logistics, or accessory installation.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols, standardized work, and damage-free vehicle handling requirements while meeting established quality and productivity targets.
• Move and shuttle vehicles accurately and on time to support processing, accessory installation, staging, and shipment.
• Install vehicle accessories, including but not limited to roof racks, cross bars, exhaust systems, paint protection film, and wheel packages, in accordance with written instructions and quality standards.
• Drive vehicles between the processing lot and rail yard and safely load or unload two- and three-level railcars.
• Complete cross-training and perform assigned PPO and POE functions as operational needs require.
• Must occasionally carry/lift to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
