In you role as a Production Team member you will prepare and finish stone with state of the art saws using safe and efficient work processes. You will also be tasked with material handling, putting any machine experience you might have to good use. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be supporting the rest of the Production team. We will provide training to the right fit, who is hard working and capable of following clear directions. Practically speaking, here's what you'll do on a day-to-day basis… Cut stone to customer specifications. Processing ‘cut to spec’ custom orders, which may include putting a surface finish on stone, by flaming, polishing and sand blasting. Chiseling stone. Material handling – moving and packaging stone. Prepare order for customer pick up. Perform quality control of all finished orders to ensure to that finished products meet the Select Stone standards. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment. You are currently ready for work and are able to work year-round, with reduced hours during winter months. You are a friendly person who has worked in a yard or shop in the past and is comfortable around and working with large machinery. Maybe you have some experience in the landscaping or building field and are looking for a change. Requirements

Ability to take initiative
Detail oriented
Experience with skid steer and forklift
Commitment to health and safety regulations and protocols
Strong work ethic
Ability to work well in a team environment
Good organizational skills and able to problem solve
Mathematical skills - ability to calculate simple formulas as necessary.
Comfortable working outdoors
Able to lift 50lb or more and move it and out of equipment through out the day
Experience operating a skid steer and forklift.
Able to work 7-5 Monday - Friday during busy season and 7-4 in the remaining months.
Able to work well with a team
