2Nd Shift Production Team Member
About The Position
Collis, LLC, a subsidiary of SSW Advanced Technologies, LLC, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Team Member to join their growing multinational team. This role is responsible for assembling and preparing products for shipment. The position involves placing raw materials into manufacturing machines, packaging finished products, organizing them for shipment, and performing quality checks on equipment and products. Collis, LLC is a supplier to global appliance OEMs with over 70 years of expertise in designing and selling components and systems for various markets including refrigeration, cooking, laundry, commercial refrigeration, HVAC, retail display, and home/office organization.
Requirements
- High School diploma is required.
- Availability to work from Monday to Friday.
- Detailed and hands-on oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Metal Manufacturing companies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follows safety procedures as instructed and reports any unsafe conditions.
- Follows work instructions, quality procedures, and work standards.
- Interacts in a professional manner with other employees and participates with work teams as needed.
- Works overtime as necessary.
- Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
- Moves, manipulates, modifies, and/or assembles materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
- Uses manual tools as instructed to perform work.
- Places products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
- Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Operates production machinery as instructed to perform work.
- Tracks production on schedule boards.
- Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Observes equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notifies operators.
- Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Places finished goods in designated containers per packing standards.
- Separates products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials.
- Properly disposes of all scrap produced during the shift.
- Fills out daily production reports and hourly quality reports.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area per area 5S procedures.
