About The Position

Our Production Worker is a great entry position into the world of manufacturing, with lots of room for growth! We are hiring at our Edmonton location at 5219 47 St NW on our afternoon shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm Compensation The starting wage for this position is $20/hour Who We Are: Established in 1982, Great Little Box Company is a family-owned and operated leading manufacturer of Labels, Corrugated Boxes & Displays, Folding Cartons, Digital Print & Packaging, Protective Packaging, and the distribution of Shipping Supplies. Responsibilities

  • Ensure that materials are labeled correctly and accurately
  • Restack finished and stripped product as required
  • Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing and all continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help monitor production waste, work as part of a team to find root causes for defective and follow best practices to improve quality
  • Ensure the production area is kept clean and orderly at all times
  • Perform other manufacturing projects/duties as requested by the production supervisor
