About The Position

The Production Worker is typically the third team member assigned to a machine in the Production Department, supporting operators on different machinery and assisting in various areas as needed. Duties include ensuring tooling is available, assisting with setups and jam-ups, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• A strong desire to advance within the industry
• Math skills will be assessed
• This position requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and crouching
• Must be able to work any shift including OT during your probationary period.

Nice To Haves

• Corrugated box manufacturing a plus
• Familiarity with Flexo, Gluers, Rotaries, Clamp Trucks and Forklifts are a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas, production, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.
• Assist the machine operator and assistant operator with setups and jam-ups.
• Ensure that the area surrounding the machine is kept clean of debris and spills.
• Ensure that all tooling for the machine is on hand.
