About The Position

Action Industries is seeking energetic, motivated, and reliable Production Team Members to join our Frame Fabrication Cell in Evansville. This role involves manufacturing and distributing industry-leading garage door products, with a focus on hands-on work with machinery. Requirements

Always on time, ready to work, and equipped with reliable transportation.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs for up to 10-hour shifts in an active plant environment.
Strong attention to detail with basic reading skills (English) and good communication skills to report issues or ask questions.
A strong drive to master new machines, work with hand tools, and advance through our level system.
Committed to maintaining a drug- and alcohol-free workplace and wearing all required safety gear.

Responsibilities

Load lineal raw goods for cutting and run specialized equipment including welding, drilling, and finishing machines.
Measure critical dimensions, test fit products using specialized gauges, and record measurements on production reports.
Use trim tools to clean flash and excess material off finished plastic frames with precision.
Complete tooling changeovers, adjust machine parameters, and set up parts to meet exact specs.
Move materials safely through the cell using carts and forklifts (training provided).
Assist fellow team members, maintain product flow, and train other operators as you advance.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and perform other duties as directed by the Production Manager.
