About The Position
Lightweight Manufacturing, a Seaman Corporation Company, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Full-Time Production Team Members on the First Shift. This role offers a career pathway in tensile manufacturing, focusing on custom architectural fabric panels and tent rental components using advanced Radio Frequency (RF) heat-sealing technology. The company emphasizes employee development, a team-oriented environment, and provides hands-on training with specialized manufacturing technology. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Eligible to work in the United States (We are an E-Verify participant)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Basic knowledge of measurements
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work as a part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the metric system a plus!
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Handling and preparing materials (moving, cutting, inspecting, packing)
- Supporting machine operation and workflow
- Learning blueprint reading and gaining the skills needed to operate RF equipment independently
- Maintaining a safe work environment by following all established safety procedures
