Production Team Member
About The Position
All production team members are hired into the Labor Pool classification where you will be trained in a role suited to your skills. Upon completion of training, you will be eligible to secure your permanent bid job by seniority. Common job responsibilities include: Operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries. Make minor adjustments, diagnose equipment issues, and perform operator-level preventive maintenance. Conduct visual inspections and required quality checks. Keep accurate records of production and defects. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements
- 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
- Comfortable working 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and twist for extended periods
- Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
- Must be able to wear required PPE
