About The Position

We're looking for a reliable, safety-minded team member with forklift experience and a Class A CDL to support our production and warehouse operations. In this role, you'll spend your day operating a forklift, moving trailers with a yard dog, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting our state-of-the-art bird seed production facility. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Ability to work extended hours when production demands require.
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug test before employment begins.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a yard dog or terminal tractor preferred.
Forklift experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates).

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, and pallets.
Operate a yard dog (terminal tractor) to safely move and position semi-trailers throughout the facility.
Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
Move completed pallets using an electric pallet jack.
Shrink-wrap finished pallets using automated and manual equipment.
Process, mix, and bag bird seed on a production line.
Read and follow production schedules.
Set scale weights accurately.
Feed bags through sewing machines or heat sealers.
Stack finished product onto pallets or into boxes.
Assist with inventory management and material handling.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support production efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards.
Provide courteous customer service when needed.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
