About The Position

This position is responsible for the slicing, stuffing, packaging and boxing of sausage products manually or by mechanical means to produce both work in process and finished goods products. This job may include the loading, unloading of materials, packaging and finished goods products from racks or pallets.

Requirements

• Product inspection, palletizing, pushing tubs, stacking boxes, and other production tasks
• Working and handling raw meat
• Handling finished product
• Must be 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• Prior food manufacturing experience prefered, but not required. We will provide on the job training.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), package, stuff or slice, raw materials to designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast paced work environment
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line. .
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.
• Follows all SQF principles pertinent to the position as specified by the SQF Practioner.
• All other duties as assigned.
