About The Position
Join OPmobility, a global group dedicated to safe, smart, and sustainable mobility. This Production Lead role is for the Third Shift in the Industrial Operations department, located onsite at 12621 Harris Branch Pkwy., Manor, TX 78653. The shift is Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This leadership position offers the opportunity to guide a dynamic team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Previous manufacturing experience in JIT/JIS environments preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example.
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary education.
- Forklift experience.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production teams to meet daily goals for safety, quality, and delivery.
- Train and mentor team members on work instructions and quality standards.
- Inspect parts and ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment (5S principles).
- Assist with scheduling breaks, implementing rotation plans, and tracking production metrics.
