About The Position

A rapidly expanding manufacturing facility is seeking a 1st Shift Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations within the Formulation department. This role is responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting a team of operators, maintaining product quality, and ensuring production goals are consistently met. The Team Lead will manage hands-on production activities, uphold safety standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the department.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
• Comfortable with physical production tasks and repetitive processes.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support formulation operators throughout the shift.
• Coordinate daily tasks including batching, mixing, forming, processing, and general production activities.
• Monitor output and adjust workflow to meet daily targets.
• Ensure materials and equipment are prepared and functioning before production begins.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain consistency and compliance.
• Maintain accurate production records and inventory counts.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
• Communicate production updates, issues, and staffing needs to leadership.
