About The Position
The Production Morning Team Lead supports daily production operations by guiding employees, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. This position works closely with supervisors to maintain productivity, quality, and compliance with company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Requirements
- Previous production, manufacturing, or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and provide clear instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift materials according to the position’s requirements.
- Must follow all safety and GMP requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assign tasks and provide direction to production employees.
- Monitor workflow, attendance, productivity, and employee performance.
- Ensure production schedules and daily goals are completed on time.
- Train and support new and current employees.
- Verify that employees follow safety procedures, GMP requirements, dress code, and company policies.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Identify production, quality, or staffing concerns and report them promptly to the supervisor.
- Assist with line setup, product changeovers, packaging, labeling, and other production duties as needed.
- Complete production records and communicate important updates to management.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and respectful communication.
