About The Position

Spartronics is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to join their team in Plaistow, NH. This role involves leading a team in a high-mix, high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment, focusing on quality, teamwork, and operational success. The ideal candidate is a motivated manufacturing leader who enjoys coaching teams, solving problems, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced technical environment. Spartronics is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider with over $500 million in annual revenue and more than 1,300 employees worldwide, operating manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Vietnam. They specialize in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), Cable & Harness Assembly, System Integration, Full Box Builds, and Testing & Sustaining Engineering.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree/Technical Degree Preferred; HS Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace/defense manufacturing, or a related technical production environment
  • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and manufacturing documentation
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work onsite in Plaistow, NH
  • Flexibility to support overtime when needed
  • Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees or Asylees) due to ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support production team members on daily manufacturing activities
  • Assign and coordinate work based on production schedules and priorities
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and on-time delivery performance
  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Train and mentor employees on processes, workmanship standards, and best practices
  • Help maintain compliance with AS9100, IPC, J-STD, and customer requirements
  • Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
  • Ensure work instructions, documentation, and production records are completed accurately
  • Support inventory control and material flow activities
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on involvement in electronic and mechanical assembly processes such as: Electrical and mechanical assembly, Cable and harness assembly, Functional and continuity testing, Soldering and inspection (training/certification available if needed), Reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings, Using hand tools, gauges, power tools, and manufacturing equipment
