As a Production Systems Engineer, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future. The role: As a Production Systems Engineer, you will help drive our goals by: Maintaining accurate, controlled manufacturing process documentation in line with quality, regulatory and internal standards. Creating and maintaining product routings in KBM to reflect current manufacturing processes, resources and lead times. Supporting the migration of process documentation and manufacturing data into CAQ systems, ensuring version control and data integrity. Leading the Quote Review Board (QRB) process to assess manufacturability, cost feasibility and production readiness for new product opportunities. Developing detailed cost analyses covering labor, materials, equipment and external vendor contributions. Coordinating with external vendors to assess capabilities and integrate supplier processes into internal routing and costing models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, production systems or a closely related engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, process documentation and product routing.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems, with KBM experience highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform cost estimation, manufacturability assessments and vendor evaluations.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills when working across engineering, production, planning and commercial teams.
