About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our production team as a Production Systems Assembler. This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience to contribute to the growth and development of our team. In this role you will be responsible to: Fabricating chemical feed equipment, including pipe fitting, structural support, machining and assembly as required and directed by the project scope. Ensuring manufacturing accuracy against drawings and blueprints. Bringing inaccuracies or problems with drawings to the attention of the Lead Hand. Maintaining appropriate quality control and test records. Hydro testing of completed systems as required. Assisting with mounting of Electrical Panels and Wireways. Entering stock movements in ZPARTS. Pulling parts from inventory and bag for Production orders. Participating in continual training and development, including licensing and certifications as required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in industrial PVC, SST tubing and PVDF piping, preferably in the water treatment industry
  • A degree or diploma in Technical field or equivalent work experience is required
  • Familiar and comfortable using a variety of tools
  • Ability to measure accurately
  • Comfortable using a computer to access various software packages, ERP system and file servers
  • Experience with reading blueprints and shop drawings is also required
  • Ability to lift 80lbs
  • Experience using crane and forklift to move heavy parts/equipment
  • Ability to work in a productive and fast paced team environment, with minimal supervision
  • Capacity to handle, organize, and coordinate multiple projects at once
