About The Position
This role is responsible for various production tasks related to tanks, including cleaning, assembly, and finishing. The position requires adherence to safety policies and may involve cross-departmental support.
Requirements
- Use of drills, hand tools, tape measure skills.
- Adherence to safety policies and practices.
- Ability to wear approved personal protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Clean surface areas on tanks with cleaning solvents.
- Use of drills, hand tools, tape measure skills.
- Apply decals to tanks according to engineering specifications.
- Use touch-up paint on tanks as needed.
- Install signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps and other associated parts on tanks according to engineering specifications.
- Enter tanks to perform cleaning processes.
- Hydro-test tanks according to company policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices, including individual safety, the safety of co-workers, and the safe use of equipment.
- Wear approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.
- Perform additional work as assigned by the Supervisor or Team leader, which may require flexing into another department.
