Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
Motivated entry-level candidates are welcome.
Forklift certification or experience is preferred.
Good communication skills with the ability to share updates and communicate issues clearly and promptly.
Works well as part of a team.
Reliable, resourceful and punctual.
Motivated, curious and has a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Supports production by completing order preparation.
Maintains material and inventory flow.
Assists production lines to ensure a safe, efficient, and continuous workflow.
Prepares lids and accessories to complete orders.
Monitors and replenishes inventory (ink, cardboard, consumables) to prevent production downtime.
Wraps pallets.
Provides break relief for operators to maintain continuous production.
Maintains workspace cleanliness (5S).
Ensures prepared orders meet quality standards and immediately reports any defects or deviations.
Executes all tasks according to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Follows all safety procedures and wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintains a clean and efficient production floor by processing used packaging (dunnage) and managing the tracking and compaction of production waste.
Ensures the compliant disposal of non-conforming products and hazardous materials in accordance with safety standards.
Supports the equipment cleaning process (sponge cleaning) to maintain machine hygiene and product quality.
