Production support - Casual Worker
About The Position
INX International is seeking a limited number of Casual Workers for their West Chicago facility. This role offers flexibility for individuals seeking a second income or extra money, such as stay-at-home parents or college students. The position involves performing routine and manual tasks to support INX's manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes. Opportunities are available on 1st shift (6 AM - 2 PM) and 2nd shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM), with flexible hours up to 29 hours per week. Workers may be asked to report to work on short notice if available. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to comprehend simple verbal/written instructions.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Basic math skills.
- Common sense understanding to carry out detailed written, oral or diagram instructions.
- Ability to stand and walk.
- May need to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel.
- Ability to reach with hands or arms.
- Ability to identify/quantify colors.
- Close & color vision.
- Depth perception & peripheral vision.
- May lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in INX’s manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes.
- Making boxes, labeling, packaging.
- Cleaning, filing, and other non-skilled labor tasks.
