About The Position

Hubbell is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Chatsworth, CA facility to join a growing, dynamic, and diverse team. This role offers the opportunity to make recommendations and improvements that will directly impact the site’s processes and procedures. The Production Supervisor will lead manufacturing activities for the assigned group by providing direction and coaching, ensuring team members receive required training, and preparing daily work plans to support overall production goals and objectives using SAP EWM. The position is compensated based on experience, with a pay range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year. The company will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with the LA Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance (FCIHO).

  • 1-3 years Leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce Company safety guidelines in partnership with EHS to ensure employees work in a safe manner consistent with Hubbell policies and procedures.
  • Schedule work assignments, vacations, and ensure accurate time reporting for Hourly Employees.
  • Create and promote a positive and inclusive culture built on respect and professionalism.
  • Conduct shift start-up meetings, communicate production objectives, and address operational challenges.
  • Plan work assignments to achieve maximum utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
  • Resolve team conflict and manage personnel issues that may arise in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Communicate to management any changes or conditions which may affect production.
  • Identify and/or resolve problems related to production processes and/or flow and work with key stakeholders to follow-thru on resolutions.
  • Assess and maintain necessary raw material inventory levels to meet productivity and output targets.
  • Manage system transactions in SAP EWM and resolve system discrepancies as needed by working with Production Control and other support staff.
